One Note Samba
If you’re a fan of bossa nova, Antonio Carlos Jobim needs no introduction. Almost every one of his compositions is pure jazz harmony! And in this video I am happy to share with you my solo guitar arrangement of one his most beloved pieces: “One Note Samba”.
In the lesson I breakdown and analyze the tune measure by measure, and unless you’re already aware of it, you’ll learn that “One Note Samba” is based on the chord changes to 2 well known jazz standards!
Finally, as a special bonus, I also show you a contrafact of “One Note Samba” with Coltrane Changes!
