HELP
Frequently Asked QuestionsI registered but can't login.
This can usually occur for one of 2 reasons:
1- You didn’t confirm your registration. You were sent a confirmation email with a link to confirm your registration with this site. Maybe the email ended up in your spam folder. Please check and if it’s there, mark it as not spam. It will be then moved to your inbox where you can open it and click on the link to confirm your registration.
If you can’t find the confirmation e-mail, you may have to wait 24 hours after which your incomplete registration will be deleted by the site. You can then register again and hopefully the confirmation email will reach your inbox. If not, your server is somehow rejecting it which rarely happens but is possible. If this is the case all I can recommend is that you try to register with a different email. Unfortunately, email confirmations for all registrations are a legal requirement in order to receive correspondence from a website such as this one.
2- Your username or password is wrong. You may be spelling something incorrectly. Remember, all usernames and passwords are case sensitive. You can’t change your username but you can request a new password by clicking on “Forgot your password?” and following the directions.
I tried to login several times and am now locked out.
Due to numerous continuous hacking attempts on the site, security software is in place that will temporarily lock out any user who makes 5 attempts to login with the wrong info. Please try again with your new password after 2 hours. You can request a new password by clicking on “Forgot your password?” and following the directions. Sorry about the inconvenience…
Didn't receive, or can't find the "20th Century Jazz Guitar" e-book.
To download the e-book, all you have to do is login with your username and password and you will find the download link on the Dashboard, within the written greeting at the top of the page.
Can't find the PDF "download" for a video I watched on You Tube.
Be aware that only videos in which I explicitly say there is a PDF for download on the site have one. If this is the case, please use the SEARCH box located at the top of the sidebar on your right (except on mobile devices), to view all the videos available by artist or category. If the lesson you are searching for does not appear among the initial results, be sure to click on “search for older entries” at the very bottom of the page. If it is an older post, you will have to keep clicking on “search for older entries” sometimes over several pages and your selection should eventually appear.
What is the MGX file included in my download? I can't open it!
The MGX file can only be opened with the “Band in a Box” app if you have it installed on your computer. For more info or to purchase BIAB, please visit: https://www.pgmusic.com
DISCLAIMER: I am in no way affiliated to BIAB or do I make any profit if you purchase it. I just believe it is a very useful product that will make your practice more efficient.
