Hello, I am not seeing the PDF download.
It’s right below the video…
These are classic solos of Miles Davis. Richie, thank you for revealing them in such a relevant way.
I really appreciate your kind lesson! I have just started to learn jazz guitar. It is so helpful to me. Thank you again.
You’re most welcome!
Thank you so much for your very helpful lesson. I am new to jazz guitar. Jazz guitar is so different than the rock or blues that I am used to, but I love jazz and want to learn how to play jazz. I even bought a Gibson ES-150 DCN so I could have a real jazz box.
Yes, as a former Rock/Blues guitarist, I agree. Jazz is different…it’s an endless journey…enjoy it!!
Beautiful solo, thanks a lot for the lesson!
You’re very welcome!
Very nice lesson on the solo. But I would also love to know what chords and voicings you are playing.
Thanks! Unfortunately, while I read and played the solo from the transcription, the chords were totally improvised on the spot. Honestly I don’t even remember what voicings I played. I just remember I used a lot of quartal harmony.
Eres un fantástico músico y gran profesor, gracias desde Madrid Spain
Gracias!
I’m coming back to guitar after 30 years + without an instrument (long story)…so much easier 2nd time around because of all these resources….thanks to generous souls like you…one of the greatest solos ever captured on record, so simple & so perfect…
