Miles Davis Monster Chromatic Lick

This 16th note based line was transcribed off Miles Davis’ “Live Evil” recording, off the track “What I Say”. It is exemplary of Miles’ use of chromaticism to create motion over a static dominant chord. In the video you will also learn how to apply it over a II_V cadence.
