Playing Bebop with String Bends

Charlie ParkerIf you’re like most guitarists who got into jazz coming from a rock-blues background, and you still play a solid body, you’ve probably entertained the question…“To bend or not to bend?” After all, string bending has been an integral aspect of playing electric guitars for at least half a century now!

In this lesson I discuss and demonstrate the proper way to use string bending when playing bebop and still sounding like a jazz player! To do so, I use 3 classic Charlie Parker heads.
