This is the 2nd in a 6-part Series on minor jazz blues. For this lesson I bring you 1 of 3 tunes in this series written by none other than John Coltrane… “Equinox” originally recorded on the album “Coltrane’s Sound”. This one like most of Trane’s minor blues is in the key of C minor and it is fairly easy to play as chord melody.  Unlike “Footprints” which I did previously, this one is in 4/4 time.
