All of Me Chord Melody

by | Chord Melody, Jazz Standards

In this lesson I’d like to teach you not one, but actually 2 chord melody arrangements of  “All of Me”…a super popular standard! The first arrangement is for solo fingerstyle guitar and the 2nd one is to be played with a trio or pianoless small group setting.  So let me begin by playing both arrangements side by side first and then I’ll play them slowly and you’ll also be able to see the notation on screen.

The first version which is for solo fingerstyle guitar is in the key of A. This gives the piece a much fuller sound when playing solo and allows for the use of open strings and unique chord voicings which are not possible in other keys. On the other hand, the 2nd arrangement to be played in a small group setting is in the original key of C and employs a lot of commonly used movable drop voicings carrying the melody primarily on the high strings.

For both arrangements, the download includes PDFs with regular notation and tablature, MP3s, band in a box files, and midi files… If you have the software, these last 2 files allow you to slow down and loop the arrangement  which make it very convenient to learn at your own pace.

PDF & AUDIO DOWNLOAD:

The All Of Me Files can be downloaded for $9.00 (buy me a cup of coffee and a snack?). Your contribution is much appreciated, as it helps support the site and allows me to keep investing the long hours required to produce these lessons. The download includes for both arrangements: a PDF with both regular notation and TAB,  MP3s  at a fast and slow tempo,  Band In A Box files featuring a rhythm section, and MIDI files. That’s 10 files in total !
